Basically a somm is a wine steward or trained wine professional who knows just absurd amounts about wine, wine service, and wine pairings.

Somm for the Day is all about making sure the wine experience you need is uniquely customized to fit your exact wants and needs.

Why wine?

Hi, I'm Edward. For almost 20 years, I have tried to figure out wine. Through classes, tastings, work, travel, and just sharing wine with friends, the foundation has been laid for my love of all things wine. During the pandemic, I decided to make this love even more official by completing WSET training and exams. After passing WSET Level 3 with distinction and wanted to take that knowledge to YOU!

Wine is fun!  But it is also intimidating as hell. Ever walk into a wine tasting, store, or any other place where really smart wine people are hanging out and just feel... out of place? There is more than a lifetime's worth of knowledge to be gained in wine so where do you even start? That's where I come in!
